The SAP Matching Gift Program empowers individual employees to be personal grantors and have SAP match their monetary and time contributions to the organizations in which they are most passionate. Matching gifts are provided in two forms:

• Dollars for Dollars – SAP matches an employee's monetary gift to a qualified 501(c)(3) organization anywhere in the United States dollar for dollar – extending the reach of SAP's corporate giving beyond communities located near SAP offices. Dollars for Dollars enables SAP employees to double the impact of their contributions to the charities they support.
• Dollars for Doers – SAP supplements the contributions of SAP employees who volunteer their time to qualified 501(c)(3) organizations with monetary grants according to the following schedule:
  • Level 1: Nonprofit Board of Director service – $20/hour
  • Level 2: Hands-on volunteer service – $40/hour
  • Level 3: Emergency services – $60/hour

The maximum for matching gifts is $10,000 per employee, per calendar year, for both programs. SAP matches gifts on a first-come, first-served basis until allocated funds are expended.
